We\u2019ve chosen <a title=\"Lodging\" href=\"https:\/\/2012.columbus.wordcamp.org\/lodging\/\">these hotels<\/a> because they&#8217;re close to WordCamp and we know they have rooms available, but you can stay wherever you like. You might want to stay somewhere else in Columbus and rent a car to drive to camp. WordCamp Columbus 2012 is being held on the campus of The Ohio State University, which is centrally located near downtown Columbus. It is close to many hotels and attractions.<\/p>\n<h2>What time does WordCamp start on Saturday and Sunday?<\/h2>\n<p>Saturday: 9:30AM &#8211; 5PM; Sunday: 10AM-12PM (registration begins one hour prior each day). The after party on Saturday is at Woody&#8217;s, a restaurant at the Union, from 5PM &#8211; 8PM.<\/p>\n<h2>Where should I park?<\/h2>\n<p>Parking at the Union is offered most conveniently at the\u00a0Ohio Union North Garage,\u00a0just north of the Ohio Union South Garage. There is additional parking offered around campus at meters and parking lots, and as well, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cota.com\/\">COTA bus system<\/a>\u00a0runs to the Union from most hotels located near campus.<\/p>\n<h2>What if I can\u2019t attend WordCamp after I\u2019ve bought my ticket?<\/h2>\n<p>Stuff happens, and we appreciate you being optimistic in buying your ticket. Tickets are non-refundable because we\u2019ve bought stuff for you based on your ticket purchase, but here are some options.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If we\u2019re sold out, you may request a refund.<\/li>\n<li>You can transfer your ticket to someone else. However, you cannot sell your ticket for more than you purchased it.<\/li>\n<li>If you\u2019d like, we\u2019ll happily auction off your ticket (probably via Twitter or eBay) and the funds will go to charity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Who should attend WordCamp Columbus?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Individuals who would like a website or blog.<\/strong><br \/>\nYou don\u2019t know any HTML, CSS, or PHP, but you know you\u2019d like to be able to have a website and maintain it yourself. You might enjoy our Beginners Workshop, in particular.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Businesses\/Organizations<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019d like a stable, secure platform for your business site. You may need the assistance of a developer or designer in the future and would like access to ones from the local \u00a0WordPress community.<\/li>\n<li><strong>WordPress Users<\/strong><br \/>\nYou have a WordPress site or blog, and would like to learn more about how to use it, promote it, extend it, hack it or design it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Web Developers<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can hack code with the best of them! You want to better integrate WordPress into your services.
