Averion has been a graphic designer in the news business for more than 20 years. She has presented on a variety of different topics related to print design, but this will be her first presentation on WordPress. She has been using WordPress since 2008, but has only been designing web sites fulltime for clients in the last couple of years. Averion has worked for The Akron Beacon Journal, The Columbus Dispatch, The Orlando Sentinel, MSNBC.com, Microsoft and The Washington Post.
