Groves taught WordPress as part of a web development course at Capital University as an adjunct professor for 3 semesters. He also presented at many user groups (mainly .NET user groups) including: Nashville, Cleveland, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Findlay, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville and Cincinnati.
